3. Scheduling, Cancellations & Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring the property is accessible at the scheduled inspection time.
Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled by contacting our office.
Vertical Inspections reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unsafe conditions, severe weather, restricted access, or unforeseen circumstances.
If the property is inaccessible upon arrival or utilities are not operational, the inspection may be limited, rescheduled, or subject to additional fees.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due at or before the time of inspection unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
We may accept payment by credit card, debit card, cash, check, or electronic payment methods.
Inspection reports may be withheld until payment has been received in full.
Returned checks, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may be subject to additional fees.
5. Inspection Limitations
Home and commercial inspections are limited visual evaluations of readily accessible systems and components.
Our inspections are not technically exhaustive and may not identify concealed, latent, or future defects.
Inspectors cannot see inside walls, ceilings, floors, underground systems, or other concealed areas.
The inspection and report do not constitute:

A code compliance inspection

An environmental or hazardous materials inspection unless specifically contracted
Clients understand that defects may exist that are not discovered during the inspection.
6. Reports & Intellectual Property
Inspection reports, photographs, videos, logos, website content, and related materials are the property of Vertical Inspections and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Inspection reports are prepared solely for the client identified in the report and are intended for their exclusive use.
Reports may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or transferred to third parties for reliance purposes without written permission from Vertical Inspections.
